Roger Hughes is a full time agent with a true love for teaching and advocating.  He works primarily in Baltimore City and Baltimore County as an expert representative for buyers and sellers.  Even before the current housing crisis, Roger mastered the skills of purchasing and selling Bank, Government and Estate Owned properties (REO).  As the team leader of The SavVy Group, Roger and the agents on the team offer specialized services to first time buyers, move-up buyers, care-givers, investors and sellers. 

Roger joined D E Hughes Realty Company as an agent in 1997 with a solid background in helping people and communities with their housing goals.  His work experiences include Housing Development Project Coordinator for the City of New Haven's Office of Housing and Neighborhood Development, development consultant and interim executive director for a community development corporation, and foreclosure intervention housing counselor at St Ambrose Housing Aid Center and We Are Family Community Development Coorporation. 

Roger has volunteered and served on the board of directors for the Greater New Haven Community Loan Fund, St Ambrose Housing Aid Center, and Dru Mondawmin Healthy Families.  He also served on the development committee for Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity.
